Revision Rhinoplasty Experience After Incomplete Primary Correction Currently in the Early Recovery Phase at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

I decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty
because my dorsal hump, deviated nose, and bulbous tip
were not adequately corrected during my first surgery.
I never imagined that I would need a second nose surgery in my life,
but over time, these imperfections became increasingly noticeable
and difficult to ignore, which led me to make the decision.
Because I strongly value natural-looking results,
I came across reviews of very natural rhinoplasty outcomes
from RU Plastic Surgery through online communities
and decided to schedule a consultation.
The consultation with Dr. Kim Hyun Joo was so satisfying
that I did not visit any other clinics afterward
and chose to proceed based solely on my trust in him,
despite the relatively high cost.
Autologous rib cartilage was used for the revision surgery.
The rib donor site was painful for the first two days,
followed by about a week of general discomfort.
I had expected the swelling to decrease significantly within a week,
but it did not subside as quickly as I had hoped.
As a result, I have been actively managing my recovery
by taking walks regularly and using anti-swelling medication.
Since there is still noticeable swelling,
I believe it is too early to evaluate the final result,
and I am patiently allowing time for proper healing.
The swelling at the nasal tip and a slightly upturned appearance
are currently my main concerns,
but I understand that these can only be properly assessed
once the swelling has fully resolved.
For now, I am continuing my recovery process with care and patience.
