Third Revision Rhinoplasty – 2 Weeks Post-Op

About 10 years after my first rhinoplasty,
the implant gradually became exposed,
so I knew I needed another surgery.
Since this was going to be my third rhinoplasty,
I was determined to make it my last.
I spent a long time researching clinics
and visited around six well-known hospitals for consultations.
Many of them recommended complicated procedures
because my nasal lining had already been damaged,
and the costs were also very high.
What concerned me most was that
none of the surgeons gave me the confidence
that they could truly solve my problem.
I couldn't make a decision
until I came across RU Plastic Surgery while searching online.

Because the implant had become exposed

that I would need two separate operations.
Some said revision surgery could be done
six months after removing the implant,

and my surgical plan included
a silicone implant for the bridge,
autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,
and additional rib cartilage to reconstruct the damaged nasal lining.
His confidence immediately gave me peace of mind.
After surgery,
seeing how little swelling I had
and how carefully the recovery was managed
made me realize I had chosen the right clinic.
The rib cartilage donor site
was also much more comfortable than I expected.
In fact,
I was surprised by how little pain I experienced.
I'm only two weeks post-op,
so I still have some swelling,
but so far,
I'm very happy with the shape of my nose.
I'm especially grateful
that I was able to get through this surgery
without any significant pain.
