I had been struggling with concerns about my nose for nearly 30 years. 

After my first rhinoplasty, I developed inflammation that resulted in scarring.

 I later underwent two additional revision procedures, but there was no significant improvement, so I was understandably very hesitant about having another surgery.

Because revision rhinoplasty is known to be technically challenging,

 I was extremely cautious when choosing a clinic and personally visited approximately six different hospitals for consultations.

Among them, RU Plastic Surgery was the clinic that gave me the greatest sense of confidence, and my consultation with Dr. Hyunju Kim was particularly memorable.

 At some of the other clinics, the consultations felt relatively brief and rushed. 

Dr. Kim, however, carefully evaluated the overall condition of my nose, the possible causes of the scarring, and the quality and condition of the surrounding skin.

Rather than simply telling me that everything could be corrected,

 he explained in a realistic and straightforward manner which aspects were likely to improve and which areas could be more difficult to address. 

I actually found this honest approach even more reassuring and trustworthy.

Before the revision surgery, I was very concerned about whether such long-standing scar tissue could be improved.

 As the postoperative swelling has gradually subsided, however, my nose has continued to look more natural.

 Most importantly, the previously scarred area now appears noticeably softer and less prominent than before, which I am very pleased with.

Autologous rib cartilage and fascia were used during the revision surgery. 

Rather than creating an excessively high or dramatic nose, the surgical approach focused on achieving a natural contour that harmonized with my facial features. 

I am especially satisfied with how balanced and natural the overall result feels.
