Three-Month Review After Revision Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

Before / 3m post-op
Thirteen years ago, I underwent my first rhinoplasty using silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip.
Over time, however, the nasal contour gradually became lower and lost some of its definition, which eventually led me to consider revision rhinoplasty.
While researching and visiting several clinics,
I came across RU Plastic Surgery and scheduled a consultation with Dr. Hyunju Kim. One of the main
reasons I felt comfortable proceeding with surgery was the personalized approach to consultation, surgery, and postoperative care.
I particularly appreciated that Dr. Kim remained directly involved throughout the entire process, which gave me greater confidence in choosing RU Plastic Surgery for my revision procedure.
It has now been three months since my revision rhinoplasty.
Compared with before surgery, the condition of the nasal skin and the overall contour have become noticeably softer and more natural as the recovery has progressed.
At my most recent follow-up visit, I met with Dr. Kim and also completed postoperative photography to document my progress.
After examining my nose, he explained that it was settling well without any notable complications or unusual findings.
Since no additional treatment or intervention was considered necessary at this stage,
I was able to leave the clinic feeling reassured and pleased with how smoothly the recovery has been progressing.
At three months postoperatively,
I am very satisfied with the more natural and refined appearance of my nose and feel reassured that the healing process is continuing without any significant concerns.
