Three Months After My Fourth Revision Rhinoplasty
본문

Hello :)
It has already been three months since my revision rhinoplasty,
so I wanted to leave another update.
This was actually my fourth revision,
and after the previous surgeries I had told myself
“I really shouldn’t touch my nose anymore.”
So I spent almost 10 years just giving up.
Then one day, I came across postoperative photos
from RU Plastic Surgery on a review app,
and I decided to visit Dr. Kim Hyun-joo for a consultation,
thinking maybe… just maybe.
But after hearing the consultation,
I realized I couldn’t just walk out without scheduling the surgery.
Other clinics simply labeled my issue as “contracted nose,”
But Dr. Kim pointed out the exact problem:
“Short nose with an elevated columella.”
Because he interpreted the problem differently,
the entire surgical plan was also completely different,
and his realistic and trustworthy explanation made my decision easy.
For this surgery, I had Autologous Rib Cartilage, Silicone,
and Megaderm grafts, and I’m now at the three-month mark.
Most of the swelling has gone down,
the elevated columella has improved significantly,
and both the front and side views look much more natural.
People around me don’t say it looks dramatically different;
instead they say things like
“Your face looks more stable,”
“The line looks so much prettier,”
which makes me even more satisfied with the result.
Before, I used to feel disappointed every time I looked in the mirror
or took photos,
but now that stress is completely gone.
Every day feels more comfortable,
and I’ve regained a lot of confidence.
Even though this was a re-re-revision and I had many worries,
I truly feel like I finally made the right decision.
