Now six months after my revision rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage at RU Plastic Surgery, I am living comfortably with my nose as if it were naturally mine. Aside from a slight foreign body sensation occasionally felt when touched—understandable given the implantation—I experience no discomfort.
My goal was to achieve a natural-looking elevation, subtle enough that it doesn’t appear overtly operated on, and I am very satisfied with the result. Dr. Kim Hyun-joo performed the surgery using autologous costal cartilage for both the nasal dorsum and tip, along with saddle nose correction and osteotomy procedures.
