One Month After Male Rhinoplasty for Bulbous and Deviated Nose

After
For a long time, I felt that my nasal shape—particularly the deviation and rounded tip—gave a heavy impression,
especially in photos or when looking in the mirror.
Working in a client-facing sales role where appearance plays an important part,
I found this increasingly stressful.
Ultimately, I decided to proceed with rhinoplasty using my own rib cartilage.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery through a YouTube video on male rhinoplasty,
where Dr. Hyunjoo Kim's confident and thorough explanation left a strong impression.
During the actual consultation, he took the time to answer each of my questions carefully
and even asked additional questions I hadn’t thought of—demonstrating a meticulous and thoughtful approach.
That gave me the confidence that he could achieve a result
that would look natural and well-balanced with my facial features.
I immediately scheduled surgery using only autologous cartilage.
The procedure addressed both the deviation and bulbous tip, and since
I was not comfortable with artificial implants, the surgery was performed entirely with autologous tissue—rib cartilage for both the nasal tip and bridge.
In addition, I had functional concerns, including nasal obstruction and rhinitis symptoms,
so I also underwent dual functional correction.
The recovery process was more comfortable than I had expected.
There was some swelling initially, but it gradually subsided, and the nasal contour became more defined over time.
At this one-month stage, the nasal line is straight, the bulbous tip has been refined, and my overall facial harmony has improved significantly.
What I’m most pleased with is how much softer and cleaner my overall impression has become.
I've received a lot of positive feedback from those around me, and I feel that the main concern
I had prior to surgery has been successfully addressed. I’m very satisfied with the outcome so far.
