Two-Week Real Review: Revision Rhinoplasty and Zygoma Surgery
본문

After
I underwent revision rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery.
After having zygoma surgery to address nasolabial folds,
I felt my nose appeared wider and lower,
which led me to consider revision surgery.
While researching, I came across Dr. Kim Hyun-joo through YouTube,
where I saw results closely matching the nose shape I desired.
The consultation involved a waiting period,
but Dr. Kim provided a very detailed and kind explanation.
He explained that the surgery would involve using autologous rib cartilage
to firmly support the entire nose and columella.
He also mentioned that alar reduction would only be performed
if absolutely necessary,
which built my trust since unnecessary procedures were not pushed.
Currently, at two weeks post-operation,
my nasal tip looks elevated and the columella appears slightly awkward,
but the clinic assured me it would gradually look more natural over time.
The incision lines are clean with minimal scarring,
reflecting the meticulous nature of the revision surgery.
The anticipated rib cartilage pain was manageable,
and the post-operative care was handled
with great kindness and professionalism.
Although I am still in the recovery phase
and not yet at my final desired appearance,
I am hopeful for continued improvement.
Overall, from consultation to surgery and aftercare,
the experience has been one of great trust and satisfaction.
