Two-Month Follow-Up After Autologous Rib Cartilage Nose Surgery at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

I had concerns about my short nose and upturned nasal tip, which were especially noticeable from the side and became more pronounced when I smiled. After consulting with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo, we focused primarily on correcting the short nose. The surgery involved using a silicone implant for the nasal bridge and autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip.
Now, two months post-surgery at RU Plastic Surgery, there is still some residual swelling, but the length of my nose has clearly improved. The previously upturned appearance has significantly decreased, and the side profile looks much more natural. I am particularly pleased that my nose no longer lifts noticeably when I smile. Although the healing process is ongoing and more time is needed for final settling, I feel a definite improvement compared to before surgery, which makes me happy every time I look in the mirror.
I hope this review can be helpful for those struggling with short or upturned noses.
