3-Month Follow-Up After Autologous Rib Cartilage Rhinoplasty for Low and Flat Nose

After
My primary concern had always been my low nasal bridge, and I wanted to enhance the height to add more dimension to my face. Additionally, facial asymmetry and a long jawline were issues that bothered me significantly.
I discovered RU Plastic Surgery through social media and was drawn to the refined, natural-looking noses shown in their cases, which made me want to schedule a consultation. During the consultation, Dr. Kim Hyun-joo was very kind and meticulous, recommending the most suitable surgical plan for me without pushing for excessive or unnecessary procedures.
For my surgery, I underwent rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage combined with a silicone implant, correction for a flat nose, and lowering of the nasal tip. For facial contouring, I received two procedures: mandibular angle reduction and chin reduction. Now at three months post-op, the swelling has gradually subsided, and I am able to resume normal daily activities comfortably. The nose harmonizes well with my facial features, and the scars from the nose and rib cartilage donor site have visibly improved.
Thanks to the use of autologous rib cartilage, the nasal structure feels solid and well-supported, which I am very satisfied with. As for the swelling from the contouring surgery, I believe more time is needed to fully assess the final results.
