3-Month Follow-Up on the 8th Revision Surgery: Short Nose and Severe Nasal Deformity
본문

After
This is my 3-month update following revision rhinoplasty
using autologous rib cartilage for a short nose.
Starting around the second month,
the feeling of a nasal tip bulge noticeably decreased,
and overall swelling has visibly subsided.
Although some minor residual swelling remains,
those around me do not recognize that I had a revision surgery,
as I have not openly mentioned it.
Originally, I underwent this revision as my final surgery before marriage.
However, after getting married and having children,
I realized that for correcting a short nose,
revision with autologous rib cartilage is truly the only viable solution.
Over the years, I frequently oscillated between
considering further revision and accepting my appearance,
and six years have passed amidst this internal debate.
I discovered RU Plastic Surgery after seeing exactly the kind of nose I wanted on Instagram.
I messaged for more information and promptly booked a consultation.
Although I was advised to consult at three clinics,
I immediately chose RU Plastic Surgery
after my consultation with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo.
He understood my concerns perfectly
and emphasized achieving a natural result.
I was also reassured by the promise of thorough post-revision care.
Since this is a revision case,
some scar tissue remains prominent.
Now that three months have passed,
I have started laser treatment for the scars,
and I look forward to seeing how my nose shape improves further.
