Even though I knew my nose was still swollen during the first two weeks,
I honestly felt a little awkward because my appearance had changed so much.
But once I passed the 3 week mark,
I could literally see the swelling disappearing day by day.
Now my friends keep telling me that my nose looks natural while still having good projection,
and honestly, I agree with them.
The side profile turned out exactly the way I hoped.
From the front, my nose used to look round and undefined,
but now it has much better definition and structure.
Taking photos has become so much easier,
and I barely feel the need to edit or contour my nose anymore.
Another huge turning point was after my second suture removal appointment.
Breathing became dramatically more comfortable,
and it honestly felt like a completely different experience compared to the first couple of weeks.
The early recovery period definitely had its difficult moments,
but now I can confidently say that I’m very happy with the result.
My procedure included
autologous rib cartilage for the tip and a silicone implant for the bridge,
and the surgery was performed by Dr. Hyun Joo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
So far, I’m extremely satisfied and excited to see how everything continues to settle over the coming months!
