After my previous rhinoplasty,
my nasal tip became much too narrow,
making it obvious that I had undergone surgery.
People around me often commented on it,
and because my nose also looked longer,
many said my midface appeared longer as well.
RU Plastic Surgery was recommended by a friend
who had achieved a great result with rhinoplasty there.
I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim,
and from the very beginning,
I felt that he really understood exactly what I wanted.
He carefully identified the areas I wanted to improve,
and I felt confident that he could address my concerns,
so I chose to have my revision rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery.
For the revision,
autologous rib cartilage was used.
To be honest,
the first few days after surgery were the most difficult,
especially before the nasal packing was removed.
Once the packing came out,
I felt much more comfortable.
The rib cartilage donor site was quite sore
for the first three to four days,
but after that,
the discomfort improved significantly.
It's now been just over two weeks since my surgery.
To me,
my nose still looks a little long,
so I'm planning to give it more time as it continues to heal.
For now,
I'm very happy that my previously sharp, pointed nasal tip
has been reshaped into a softer, more natural contour,
which is exactly the improvement I was hoping for.
