Two Weeks After Reconstructive Surgery for Nasal Contracture
본문

After experiencing complications from a previous rhinoplasty performed at another clinic,
I developed significant nasal contracture and noticeable distortion of the shape of my nose.
It was a very difficult experience emotionally, and I spent a considerable amount of time visiting different clinics for consultations regarding reconstructive surgery.
After consulting with several clinics, RU Plastic Surgery was the last place I visited.
During the consultation, Dr. Hyunju Kim carefully identified the specific problems with my nose and explained my condition and the proposed surgical approach in great detail.
I also felt reassured by his confidence in being able to correct the deformity.
In addition to the reconstructive procedure, I also received stem cell treatment as part of my overall treatment plan.
For the revision surgery, autologous rib cartilage and scalp fascia were used to reconstruct and correct the contracted nose.
It has now been approximately two weeks since surgery, and I am very pleased with the progress so far.
One thing that surprised me was that I experienced virtually no bruising and relatively minimal swelling during the early recovery period.
The shape of my nose has improved beyond my expectations, and I can already see a clear correction of the previous deformity.
I am very happy with the overall appearance at this stage of recovery.
At each postoperative follow-up visit, the medical team has been attentive and thorough,
and Dr. Kim has continued to explain my recovery process clearly and in detail.
I am very grateful to Dr. Hyunju Kim for performing the reconstruction so carefully and for helping restore the shape of my nose.
