One-Month Review After Saddle Nose Reconstruction
본문

It has now been one month since I underwent surgery to correct a saddle nose deformity.
Last year, I developed a saddle nose after undergoing surgery for a deviated nasal septum,
and I began looking into revision rhinoplasty to restore the shape of my nose. While researching different clinics and surgical options,
I considered the use of both auricular cartilage and rib cartilage.
After learning more about the available approaches, I felt that autologous rib cartilage would be the most suitable option for me, which ultimately led me to choose RU Plastic Surgery.
My consultation experience was also one of the reasons I felt comfortable proceeding with surgery.
At some of the other clinics I visited, the consultations felt somewhat rushed because there were additional patients waiting.
At RU Plastic Surgery, however, I did not feel pressured or hurried during the consultation.
Most importantly, Dr. Hyunju Kim explained the surgical approach with confidence, which helped reassure me about moving forward with the procedure.
The entire rhinoplasty was performed without the use of a synthetic implant, using autologous rib cartilage instead.
Now, one month after surgery, I am very satisfied with the result and have been able to return comfortably to my normal daily activities.
Although I am still in the early stages of recovery, I am pleased with how the reconstruction is progressing and feel reassured by the overall outcome so far.
