One Month Postoperative Review Following Revision Surgery for Contracted Nose
본문

It has been one month since my revision surgery for a contracted nose, and I am experiencing highly satisfactory days, prompting me to share my review. Over the past ten years, I underwent four surgeries and suffered numerous complications related to silicone implants. My nose was elevated, twisted, and pinched, making it difficult to face each day. Additionally, the crooked nasal bridge caused severe breathing difficulties and daily headaches. The stress was compounded by friends frequently pointing out the deformity.
After making a firm decision, I sought care at RU Plastic Surgery. I researched many clinics, seeking a surgeon with extensive experience in revision surgeries who would use only autologous tissue to avoid further complications and inflammation. This led me to Dr. Hyun Joo Kim.
Although I had consulted multiple surgeons regarding contracted nose correction, none were as kind and precise in identifying the specific improvements needed as Dr. Kim. This gave me great confidence, and I naturally decided to proceed with the surgery.
Postoperatively, I experienced no discomfort and, in fact, began to enjoy much better days. While I had significant bruising during the first week, I understood this as a natural part of the healing process. I visited the clinic weekly for follow-up, and each time Dr. Kim attentively examined my progress, inquiring about any discomfort and emphasizing important precautions. These moments reinforced my belief that I had chosen the right clinic.
Compared to my previous revision surgeries, which were plagued by worsening deformities and pain after one month, my current recovery is remarkably different. My nose feels stable and well-fixed, with only mild residual swelling gradually subsiding. I am genuinely grateful and happy with the results.
