Six-Month Postoperative Review: Inflammatory Nose, Contracture Nose, Anterior Cheek Filler, Nasolabial Fold Lift, and Chin Advancement Surgery

After
Two to three years ago, I underwent rhinoplasty using ear cartilage, but complications with inflammation and contracture caused my nose to become shortened and lifted. Experiencing significant stress and a decline in self-esteem, I decided to pursue revision surgery. I entrusted Dr. Hyun Joo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery with the procedure, which included columella lowering and harvesting autologous rib cartilage for reconstruction.
Simultaneously, I received anterior cheek filler, nasolabial fold lift, and facial contour revision surgery with chin advancement. While the initial recovery phase was accompanied by considerable discomfort at the rib cartilage donor site, I currently experience no pain or inconvenience.
At six months postoperatively, the nasal line has stabilized in a natural, aesthetically pleasing position. The chin has become more defined, resulting in a sharper and clearer facial profile. I am extremely satisfied with the simultaneous resolution of contracture nose deformity and chin retrusion.
