6-Month Review After Revision Rhinoplasty with Bulbous Tip and Functional Nasal Correction

After
It has now been six months since my revision rhinoplasty, and I can confidently say that I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. In fact, I often find myself thinking, “Why didn’t I come here sooner?”
I had long struggled with a bulbous nasal tip and a slight deviation of the nasal bridge. In addition, I suffered from chronic nasal congestion due to severe allergic rhinitis. After discovering RU Plastic Surgery through social media, I decided to undergo a comprehensive consultation. Following a thorough evaluation, I proceeded with revision rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage along with functional nasal surgery to address my deviated septum and inferior turbinate hypertrophy.
The procedure involved multiple corrections, including bulbous tip refinement, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction. My initial recovery lasted about a week, during which I focused on rest. After that, I received consistent post-operative care through regular follow-ups with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo, which significantly contributed to a smooth and complication-free healing process.
At this point, the nasal contours have fully stabilized, and every time I look in the mirror, I feel an immense sense of satisfaction. The outcome is exactly what I hoped for: a natural, harmonious nasal line that complements my facial features. I frequently receive compliments from people who tell me how natural and refined my nose looks, often without realizing I had surgery at all.
Most importantly, the improvement in my breathing has been life-changing. The nasal obstruction caused by structural issues is now resolved, and I can breathe comfortably through my nose again.
With all the swelling now resolved and the nose having fully settled into place, it truly feels like this is the nose I was always meant to have. Looking back, I only wish I had made the decision sooner.
