2-Week Review After Secondary Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

After
I previously underwent rhinoplasty, but over time, I noticed my nasal tip gradually shifting to the right. It became a constant concern every time I looked in the mirror. While researching secondary rhinoplasty options, a friend who had undergone a revision with excellent results recommended RU Plastic Surgery. After seeing her outcome, I decided to book a consultation.
I visited several clinics for consultations, but Dr. Kim Hyun-joo at RU Plastic Surgery gave me the strongest sense of confidence. Both Dr. Kim and the clinic coordinator were thorough and transparent, helping me understand not only the actual surgical process using autologous rib cartilage but also correcting some of my misconceptions. Their detailed explanation of what to expect post-operatively helped me feel reassured in moving forward. The clean facilities and warm, professional staff also contributed to my decision.
The surgery went smoothly, and even after the anesthesia wore off, I didn’t experience significant discomfort. A nasal splint and internal packing were placed after the procedure, and I did feel some pressure until the packing was removed the next day. After one week, the external splint and stitches were taken out, which greatly improved my comfort level. I still experienced some nasal discharge, but it was manageable.
At the two-week mark, the internal sutures were removed. Aside from minor bruising over the nasal dorsum, my recovery progressed well. Swelling continues to reduce day by day, and I'm able to go about my routine without any major issues.
The previously deviated tip is now centered, and the refined nasal tip has created a beautiful, balanced profile that I’m very happy with. I’ve already recommended RU Plastic Surgery to another friend considering revision surgery, as I’m genuinely confident in the expertise and care provided here.
