Two Weeks Postoperative Review Following Autologous Rib Cartilage Rhinoplasty
본문

Before undergoing rhinoplasty, I always felt that my nose was too low,
which made my face appear flat and lacking in dimension.
I had been considering surgery for several years,
and I was determined to find a clinic with extensive experience in using autologous rib cartilage.
By chance, I came across RU Plastic Surgery on Instagram,
and everything—from Dr. Hyun Joo Kim’s surgical approach to the before-and-after results and even the clinic atmosphere—
perfectly aligned with what I was looking for.
That’s how I decided to have my surgery at RU.
The procedure involved removing a previously inserted high nose filler,
using autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip,
and placing a silicone implant for the dorsum.
Alar base reduction and nasolabial angle correction were also performed.
Since I have thin skin, Dr. Kim suggested using Megaderm (an acellular dermal matrix)
to cover the silicone implant and prevent any visible outlines.
Now that it's been just over two weeks since the surgery,
I’ve been receiving countless compliments from people around me,
saying the result looks amazing.
As the swelling continues to subside,
my satisfaction has only increased.
I’m genuinely happy with how everything is turning out.
