I arranged my schedule to make time for the procedure,
and both Dr. Hyun Joo Kim and the coordinator were very kind and professional throughout the process.
I also had functional procedures performed simultaneously—septoplasty
and turbinate reduction—to address my nasal obstruction and deviated septum.
I can definitely feel an improvement in my breathing,
though I understand that allergic rhinitis can recur over time, which is still a concern.
Since I also had osteotomy and bulbous tip correction,
the aesthetic effects have become more noticeable as the swelling gradually subsides, especially from the front view.
During my recent follow-up visit, Dr. Kim and my coordinator, Yerim, were both incredibly attentive and thorough,
taking the time to answer all my questions and concerns patiently.
This was my first rhinoplasty, and I had it done at RU Plastic Surgery. Given the results, I don’t think I’ll need revision surgery,
which is a huge relief. Many people around me have had to undergo revision rhinoplasty,
so they often say I’m lucky to have had a successful result in just one surgery.
I feel truly fortunate that everything turned out well the first time.
