9-Month Follow-Up After Revision Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

Nine months have passed since I underwent revision rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage at RU Plastic Surgery.
As more time has gone by,
the scar at the rib cartilage harvest site has noticeably faded.
The nasal contour I had initially hoped for has been well-maintained,
and many people around me have complimented the shape and projection of my nasal tip.
After discovering that Gore-Tex had been used in my previous surgery,
I became increasingly concerned about potential inflammation and the possibility of the short nasal tip not being properly corrected.
Fortunately, Dr. Hyunjoo Kim successfully removed the Gore-Tex material and addressed the contracted tip.
There has been no drooping, and the results remain aesthetically pleasing and stable.
Based on my experience, I believe Dr. Kim demonstrates exceptional skill in handling complex cases involving short or contracted noses.
Her surgical approach to lowering and supporting the nasal tip using autologous
rib cartilage has proven highly effective and reliable in my case.
