Postoperative Week 3 Following Secondary Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Rib Cartilage and Silicone Implant
본문

I am now in the third week following my rhinoplasty revision surgery.
The procedure involved using autologous rib cartilage for tip reconstruction and a silicone implant for dorsal augmentation.
Additional corrections included addressing a bulbous nasal tip and performing short nose correction.
At this point, I am quite satisfied with the overall nasal shape.
However, I still experience a slight pulling sensation in the columella area,
and my upper lip feels tight when applying lip balm or tint—possibly indicating residual swelling.
Given that, I assume there is still a significant amount of edema remaining.
While I hope the current projection and structure remain as they are,
I wonder if I might feel disappointed later on if the swelling continues to subside and the height decreases further. Nonetheless,
I understand this is a common concern during the early recovery phase, especially around the third postoperative week.
