It has been over six months since I underwent double eyelid surgery with a non-incisional ptosis correction technique and lower eyelid fat repositioning.
Initially, it felt like the swelling was subsiding slowly at a certain point, but now that I’m looking back and comparing photos at the 6-month mark,
I can clearly see a significant difference.
The crease has gradually become thinner and more defined, giving the appearance of a more natural line.
When I relax my eye muscles or open my eyes slightly, the crease appears as a subtle inner double eyelid.
When I open my eyes fully or naturally, the fold appears very faint, close to a monolid.
Before surgery, the upper eyelid skin used to cover almost half of my iris. Now, that issue is gone.
The puffiness under my eyes has also been corrected nicely—it's now smooth and even.
Several of my friends have shown interest in getting surgery themselves after seeing my results.
The procedures were performed by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
