Rhinoplasty Review: Achieved a Natural and Harmonious Look

Before undergoing rhinoplasty, I always felt that my face would look more balanced if only my nose were corrected.
My original nose had a flat, wide tip with a low nasal bridge, giving it a blunt appearance.
I discovered RU Plastic Surgery through YouTube. The rhinoplasty and revision surgery results shown in their videos stood out to me,
especially because the noses weren’t overly sharp or artificial. The round, soft, and natural contours were exactly my aesthetic preference.
During my consultation, I felt that Dr. Hyunjoo Kim and I shared a very similar sense of beauty,
which was the deciding factor for me. I placed a deposit right away and proceeded with functional rhinoplasty.
I specifically requested a natural-looking augmentation of the bridge. From my research,
I found that while silicone implants can create a nice side profile, they often appear unnatural from the front.
However, RU’s results showed smooth, natural lines even from the front.
The surgery plan included:
Silicone implant for dorsal augmentation
Autologous rib cartilage graft
Bulbous tip correction
Columella lengthening
Osteotomy
Functional nasal surgery (correction of septal deviation and inferior turbinate reduction)
The procedure was done under general anesthesia, and I didn’t experience any pain. For the first two days,
I had some nasal discharge and bleeding, and completely lost my sense of taste—but aside from being hungry, everything else was manageable.
The major swelling subsided quicker than I expected, and by the one-month mark, I could feel the minor swelling gradually fading as well.
Both I and my friends agree that the result looks very natural. In my opinion,
overdone rhinoplasty can erase someone’s unique aura.
But in my case, RU Plastic Surgery enhanced my natural features rather than changing them.
What I love the most is that not only does my side profile look amazing, but from the front,
my nose now has a naturally defined appearance that doesn’t look surgical at all.
I truly believe the procedure brought out more depth and dimension in my face.
Even if I had to do it all over again, I’d still choose RU Plastic Surgery.
