3 Months Postoperative Review After Bulbous Nose Correction Using Autologous Rib Cartilage and Silicone Implant
본문

Since childhood, I had always been self-conscious about my low, bulbous nose.
I decided to undergo rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage and a silicone implant,
performed by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
Now at three months post-op, the swelling has significantly subsided.
Dr. Kim mentioned that while the lateral profile is expected to remain as is, the frontal view will continue to refine as residual swelling diminishes.
At this stage, the nose feels very natural—like it’s truly mine—and the minor discomforts I experienced early on have almost entirely resolved.
What I appreciate most is that my natural facial image has been preserved,
while the overall appearance of my nose has become more defined and three-dimensional. It looks harmonious and aesthetically pleasing.
There was a brief moment when the skin on my nose appeared slightly red, possibly due to friction while washing my face,
but when I contacted the clinic, the coordinator kindly and thoroughly explained everything, which gave me a strong sense of trust moving forward.
I'm very satisfied with the outcome and have absolutely no regrets about choosing RU Plastic Surgery for this procedure.
