Six-Month Follow-Up After Revision Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

It has now been six months since I underwent revision rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery,
and my level of satisfaction remains the same as it was three months ago.
The overall appearance has become significantly more natural,
and several people who had seen me prior to surgery no longer recognize me at first glance.
The nose appears to be fully stabilizing and settling into place.
One thought that has crossed my mind recently is whether the augmentation achieved is the best possible outcome,
considering that my original nose was quite small.
There is some lingering regret about not achieving even more projection.
Nonetheless, I am highly satisfied with the overall results and how I look now.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim and involved the following techniques and materials: autologous rib cartilage for nasal tip reconstruction,
silicone implant for dorsal augmentation,
Megaderm graft placed over the silicone to reduce the risk of translucency due to thin skin,
and columellar strut grafting for columella lengthening.
