2 Months Postoperative Update: Autologous Rib Cartilage Rhinoplasty with Nasolabial Angle Correction and Removal of Previous Filler (HIKO)
본문

At two months post-op, the scar has significantly faded,
and the nasal contour has improved as the swelling continues to subside.
I had originally been concerned about my slightly protrusive lips,
but with nasolabial angle correction, the overall facial profile now appears more balanced and less convex.
Along with my primary rhinoplasty, I also had residual HIKO filler removed. Reflecting on the past,
I now feel I should’ve opted for surgical correction from the beginning.
Although procedures like HIKO were painful and required prolonged taping,
the results were short-lived and not as refined.
While surgical recovery takes more time, the aesthetic outcome is far more rewarding.
Before surgery, my nose appeared broad and flat. Now, it looks more refined,
with improved projection and midline definition.
Friends and colleagues have commented that my face looks more structured and harmonious overall.
I underwent the procedure at RU Plastic Surgery with Dr. Hyunjoo Kim,
and I’m highly satisfied with both the results and the attentive postoperative care provided throughout the process.
