3 Months Post-Op: Autologous Rib Cartilage Revision Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

I recently visited RU Plastic Surgery for my 3-month follow-up after undergoing revision rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage.
According to Dr. Hyun Joo Kim, I’ve now entered the stabilization phase of healing.
He mentioned that the lateral swelling has mostly resolved and that any further reduction will primarily be in the frontal view.
From the front, the nasal tip still appears somewhat rounded,
so I found it reassuring when he explained that this area will continue to refine.
Personally, I wasn’t seeking an overly sharp or exaggerated result—just a more structured and refined nasal tip—which is exactly what I’m seeing,
so I’m content with the outcome so far.
The incision scar from the rib cartilage harvest is also continuing to fade gradually.
It had been a while since my last visit, but I was warmly welcomed as soon as I arrived.
The staff’s kindness and attentiveness made the follow-up even more pleasant.
I truly appreciate the continued care and professionalism at RU.
