One Month After Revision Rhinoplasty
본문

Surgery details: Removal of silicone implant and capsule contracture
Materials used: Postauricular dermis, septal cartilage, auricular cartilage
Performed by: Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery
It’s already been one month since my revision rhinoplasty.
There is still some residual swelling, but the major swelling has mostly gone down and I’m starting to feel like myself again.
The area between my brows and the tip of my nose still feel a bit unnatural, but I’m hopeful that with time,
it will settle into a more natural and comfortable shape. Sensation in my nose hasn’t fully returned yet.
The nostrils have regained some feeling, but the area underneath my nose remains numb, so I’m waiting patiently for that to improve.
The ear area where cartilage was harvested no longer bleeds, and it seems like the tissue is healing, though I still experience some mild pain.
I believe this will gradually get better.
