2 Months After My Fourth Revision Rhinoplasty Using Total Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

This was my fourth nose surgery. I chose to undergo another revision not for a more dramatic or glamorous change,
but to correct a lifted nasal tip and asymmetrical, twisted nostrils. My goal this time was to restore a more stable and natural appearance.
Now at the 2-month mark, I can feel the firmness in my nose that Dr. Kim mentioned would develop around this time.
I had been considering scar laser treatment for both the rib cartilage donor site and the columella,
but fortunately, Dr. Kim said I didn’t need it—everything is healing well on its own, which was a relief.
Before deciding on surgery, I visited more than seven clinics specializing in revision rhinoplasty.
I took my time researching and comparing, and I’m genuinely glad I made the decision to have the procedure here.
For this revision, both the nasal tip and bridge were reconstructed entirely using autologous rib cartilage.
Dr. Kim also performed short nose correction, columella lengthening,
and removed inflammatory and scar tissue that had accumulated from prior surgeries.
I feel reassured knowing that the procedure was done thoroughly, and I’m optimistic about how my nose will continue to settle over the coming months.
