My First Rhinoplasty – Autologous Rib Cartilage for the Tip + Silicone for the Bridge
본문

I had my first rhinoplasty with Dr. Hyunjoo Kim,
using autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip
and a silicone implant for the bridge.
I used to feel very self-conscious
about the width of my nostrils
and how low both my nasal bridge and tip were,
which is why I decided to undergo surgery.
Honestly, I wish I had done it sooner—
I am extremely happy with the results.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery
through an influencer I follow.
She shared her rhinoplasty journey on Instagram,
and as I looked into it further,
I discovered that she had her surgery done here.
Her before-and-after photos completely convinced me
to book a consultation.
During the recovery period,
especially right before and after the splint was removed,
I couldn’t help but worry
about whether everything had turned out well.
However, both Dr. Kim and the consultation manager
were incredibly kind
and explained everything in detail,
which truly helped put my mind at ease.
Just as they had explained,
the swelling has subsided beautifully,
and the final shape turned out exactly as I had hoped.
Dr. Kim clearly understood the aesthetic I was aiming for,
and I am honestly 1000% satisfied with the outcome.
This was my very first rhinoplasty,
and I am so glad that I chose Dr. Hyunjoo Kim for it.
