5 Months Post-Op – Eyes, Nose (Rib Cartilage), and Facial Contouring
본문

It has been five months since I underwent eye surgery, rhinoplasty,
and facial contouring, and I finally feel like I’m seeing the full results.
My nose used to be low and wide,
but it has now been refined into a soft, straight-sloped line,
exactly the look I was hoping for.
The swelling has reduced significantly,
especially along the bridge and tip,
making the nose appear much slimmer and more defined.
As for the facial contouring,
it definitely took longer for the swelling to subside
—I was told it’s one of the slowest areas to heal.
Now that my cheekbones have fully settled,
my jawline and side profile look much more balanced and smooth.
My eye shape also looks very natural.
I wanted something between an inner-out and semi-out line,
and the result turned out to be subtle yet clearly noticeable,
which I’m very happy with.
For my rhinoplasty,
autologous rib cartilage was used for the nasal tip
and a silicone implant for the nasal bridge.
Dr. Hyunjoo Kim was exceptional.
Because he is well known for revision rhinoplasty,
I trusted him to perform my first nose surgery
in a way that would minimize the need for revision in the future.
So far, I truly believe I made the right choice.
Even during follow-up visits,
Dr. Kim took plenty of time to explain everything in detail.
When I accidentally bumped my nose while out one day,
I contacted the clinic,
and they carefully checked on my condition the very next day.
Both the doctor and the staff were incredibly kind,
thorough, and attentive.
Recovery was honestly challenging at first.
Breathing felt difficult,
and the swelling was intense.
But now that everything has healed,
I almost forget how tough the early recovery period was.
I feel extremely grateful and happy
with how everything has turned out.
