Three-Month Review After Autologous Rib Cartilage Rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

It’s now been three months since my rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery.
Before surgery, I was most concerned about my low nasal bridge and bulbous tip. I often relied on heavy contouring with makeup to create the illusion of a higher nose,
but ultimately decided to undergo surgery after much consideration.
Since it was my first procedure, I researched thoroughly before selecting RU. I wanted a rib cartilage graft for durability and natural results,
and Dr. Hyunjoo Kim's experience with autologous grafts gave me confidence. During the consultation,
both Dr. Kim and the coordinator were incredibly kind and thorough, which helped solidify my decision.
Currently, the bridge—augmented with a silicone implant—has shown significant improvement in height and definition.
The bulbous tip still has some residual scar tissue, so the final contour isn’t fully visible yet, but the side profile is already very satisfying.
Because rhinoplasty is known for potential complications, I had many questions and worries, especially as this was my first surgery.
Each time I had concerns—even on weekends—I was able to reach out and receive detailed explanations and support from the coordinator.
That level of responsiveness really put my mind at ease.
I was told the scar tissue will continue to settle, so I'm looking forward to a slimmer nasal tip in the coming months.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the outcome and the care I received—so happy I chose RU!
