No-implant Autologous Tissue Male Nose Surgery
본문

When I was younger, I suffered a serious nasal injury while playing sports.
After that, my nose became crooked,
and it constantly caught my attention and bothered me,
which led me to consider rhinoplasty.
Through a friend’s recommendation,
I visited RU Plastic Surgery and felt confident after the consultation,
so I decided to proceed with surgery to correct my hump nose.
Before surgery, the deviation of my nose was quite severe,
and I was given two options:
either to increase the height of the nasal bridge
or to maintain the existing height.
Rather than making my nose higher,
correcting the dorsal hump and the crookedness
was my top priority,
so I chose not to use any silicone implant.
In addition, the columella—the area between the nostrils—was short,
and because my nose was short overall,
short nose correction was also performed.
Initially, there was some discomfort at the rib cartilage donor site,
especially when stretching or exercising,
but now it does not bother me at all.
Since the surgery,
everyone I meet says my overall impression has improved
and often asks what I changed.
I’ve heard that Dr. Hyun Joo Kim is especially well known
for revision rhinoplasty.
But given his expertise in complex revision cases,
it’s no surprise that he also delivers excellent results
for primary rhinoplasty.
