2 Weeks After Primary Rhinoplasty for Low Bulbous Nose with Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

I decided to undergo rhinoplasty
because I was concerned about my low nose, bulbous tip,
and overall side profile.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery
through a friend’s recommendation,
and during my first consultation,
the counseling manager explained everything very clearly.
The biggest reason I chose the clinic, though,
was because Dr. Hyun Joo Kim
understood exactly the style I wanted.
He clearly explained
what was realistically possible
and what was not,
and the aftercare system they provided
also felt much more thorough
compared to other clinics,
which led me to schedule surgery.
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim recommended silicone for the bridge
and autologous rib cartilage for the tip.
In the end,
my surgery included bridge augmentation,
tip projection,
bulbous tip correction,
and short nose correction.
After surgery,
my nose itself honestly wasn’t very painful
except during stitch removal.
The rib donor site was more uncomfortable
when the stitches were removed,
but that gradually improved over time.
After the nasal packing was removed,
I also noticed that breathing felt easier than before,
and I was told
that improving the nasolabial angle
helped contribute to that as well.
I received swelling laser treatments regularly after surgery,
so the swelling improved very quickly.
People around me even commented
that I barely looked swollen at all.
Most importantly,
the final shape turned out exactly like
the nose I had hoped for,
and I especially love the side profile line now.
Honestly, after surgery,
there hasn’t been a single part
that felt disappointing or unsatisfactory to me.
