2 Months Post-Op – Revision Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage
본문

I had my revision surgery at R.U. Plastic Surgery with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo.
During the first month, the major swelling went down fairly quickly,
but from then on, I’ve noticed that the minor swelling is taking its time.
Around week 6, it started to feel like my nose looked different day to day—
some days it seemed a bit puffier, and other days it looked more defined.
I actually got worried on one of the puffier days and reached out to the clinic,
and they reassured me it was part of the process as the scar tissue softens.
Honestly, time really is the key with this kind of surgery.
Swelling varies so much depending on your age and body type, and now I’m just trying to be patient.
The incision under my columella has faded quite a bit,
and friends who haven’t seen me in a while say my nose looks naturally refined.
Since I specifically asked for something not too dramatic,
I’m happy with how things are shaping up so far.
