1 Month Post-Op: Low and Wide Nose Correction with Autologous Rib Cartila
본문

Before surgery, my nose had almost no bridge and a wide, drooping tip. I also wanted to improve the nasolabial angle, which led me to decide on rhinoplasty.
I came across a YouTuber I follow who had undergone rib cartilage rhinoplasty at this clinic. After a consultation with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo,
I felt confident in her thorough explanation and decided to go ahead with autologous tissue rhinoplasty.
Since I strongly hoped to avoid future revision, I chose a full autologous approach using rib cartilage for both the bridge and the tip—completely implant-free.
Now, the bridge is well-defined and natural-looking to the point where you wouldn’t even guess rib cartilage was used.
I’m overall very satisfied, especially with the improvements I wanted most.
For reference, the tip was shaped using rib cartilage, and the bridge was built up with a thin layer of the same.
