Autologous Rib Cartilage Revision Rhinoplasty for Ptotic Nasal Tip – 2-Week Review
본문

It’s been 10 years since my initial rhinoplasty, and I had been fine until recently when I started worrying about my drooping nasal tip.
I wanted to maintain my nasal bridge but lift the tip higher and achieve a natural look.
Since this was a revision surgery, I researched many clinics. Al-Yu Plastic Surgery Clinic stood out because it wasn’t a factory-like clinic,
the reviews were good, and the before-and-after photos matched the look I wanted.
After consulting with Dr. Kim Hyun-Joo and the coordinator, I decided to proceed with revision rhinoplasty using silicone for the bridge and autologous rib cartilage for the nasal tip.
The first four days after surgery were the hardest, but after that, I felt much better. The rib cartilage donor site was very painful initially but only for about five days.
After that, daily life wasn’t affected. Now, at two weeks post-op, it’s still early, but my nasal tip is definitely higher, making my face appear smaller.
People around me say the result looks natural and well done. The swelling is much less than I expected, which surprises everyone.
I’ve heard many say Dr. Kim Hyun-Joo is an excellent surgeon, and I agree. I’m very satisfied so far.
