2 Weeks After My First Nose Surgery! (Used Autologous Rib Cartilage)
본문

I had previously received nasal filler injections,
but over time they spread and made my nose look wide and puffy.
Since I naturally have a small, low nasal bridge,
this became a major concern for me.
That’s when I decided to proceed with rhinoplasty.
A close friend of mine had undergone revision rhinoplasty
for a contracted nose at RU Plastic Surgery,
and not only did her nose return to a normal shape,
it actually turned out very beautiful.
Based on her experience,
I decided to book a consultation at RU as well.
During the consultation,
I explained that I wanted a nose that looked natural,
but still slightly glamorous.
I saved only the most glamorous-looking results from RU’s reviews
and kept saying,
“I want it to look natural like these.”
Dr. Hyunjoo Kim’s philosophy of
“getting it right the first time”
really resonated with me.
He carefully explained everything in detail,
from septal extension techniques
to the overall surgical process,
which made me trust him even more.
I ended up undergoing surgery with Dr. Kim
using autologous rib cartilage.
Surprisingly, the rib cartilage harvesting was not painful at all.
There was almost no swelling around my nose,
eyes, or under-eye area.
Because I had an osteotomy,
there was slight swelling along the sides of the nasal bridge,
but it did not interfere with my daily activities.
My nose turned out naturally beautiful,
yet still has the defined and noticeable presence I wanted.
I’m extremely satisfied
and honestly feel like I’ll never have to worry about revision surgery again.
This was my first rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery.
The procedure involved autologous rib cartilage and silicone,
along with osteotomy,
bulbous nose correction,
and nasolabial angle adjustment.
So far, I have zero regrets—
only love for my new nose.
