I got chin surgery and rib cartilage nose surgery together from Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery,

and it’s been 2 months, so here’s my review!!

Before the surgery, I was worried about my low, wide nose tip and

my very small chin and recessed jaw.

If you want to put it nicely, it gave me a cute, youthful look,

but the downside was I looked kind of puffy and wide.

I tried lifting lasers and double chin treatments, but they didn’t help much.

They said if I get chin and jaw surgery, my double chin would improve a lot,

so I decided to get a type 1 contouring surgery together while I was under anesthesia!

Honestly, the doctor said that the patient’s own decision is the most important,

but personally, he told me that if I raised my nose tip without fixing my chin,

it might look strange from the side or at an angle,

and that fixing the chin as well would really make a huge improvement.

When I told him all my concerns, he gave me advice carefully.

Now, 2 months later, I’m so glad I did both the nose and jawline together!

Maybe if I only did the nose, I would’ve been satisfied to some extent,

but since my nose looks better, I’d want to fix other parts too,

and that would’ve meant doing my chin later anyway... which I didn’t want.

I’ve read lots of reviews saying that doing nose and jaw contouring together makes breathing really hard and is the toughest,

but since I only had the chin advancement surgery,

breathing wasn’t super difficult for me.

The first day going home was really painful,

the next day too, but from day 3 onwards, I felt strangely okay!

Also, I asked the doctor to keep my nose and chin looking natural,

so people around me, especially guys who don’t really know about plastic surgery,

just say, “Why do you look so good?” but don’t realize I had surgery haha.

But when I compare selfies before and after at home,

the difference is clear and I want to show people!

After the nose surgery, the sunken midface area also looks more filled out,

and I originally had a protruding mouth and lips,

but since the doctor also corrected the nasolabial angle with the nose surgery,

that area looks prettier and my mouth doesn’t stick out as much,

so I’m very satisfied!
