1-Month Review After Autologous Rib Cartilage Revision Rhinoplasty Surgery by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

It’s already been over a month since I had my autologous rib cartilage revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
I immediately began researching, using cosmetic surgery apps and forums like YeowooYa Café to find reputable clinics that specialize in revision rhinoplasty, especially those known for using autologous rib cartilage.
Out of all the before/after photos and reviews I read—especially for contracted nose revision—the ones from RU Plastic Surgery stood out the most.
When I visited RU for a consultation, both the consultant and Dr. Kim provided thorough, honest guidance with no pressure.
They clearly explained which areas could be improved, and recommended a fully autologous plan using:
Rib cartilage for the bridge, Rib cartilage for the tip
All using my own tissue—no foreign implants.
The only thing is that the front view still looks a bit puffy, so I can’t say I’m 100% satisfied just yet—but Dr. Kim reassured me that this is normal and the swelling will continue to go down.
What brings me the most peace of mind is knowing that since I used only my own tissue, I won’t have to worry about implant-related inflammation again.
I’m truly thankful to Dr. Kim and the entire team at RU Plastic Surgery for their detailed care and dedication to both the surgery and post-op treatment.
