3-Month Rhinoplasty Revision Update!
본문

My first surgery was years ago with just ear cartilage and silicone,
but it didn’t really improve much from the start,
and my tip dropped quickly—
my nose ended up looking longer than my natural one,
so I decided to get revision surgery for a long nose.
I heard about RU Plastic Surgery from a friend
who had a great result with their nose done by Dr. Hyunjoo Kim,
so I found out about it through that recommendation!
I already had it in mind that I wanted to use rib cartilage
because my nose tends to droop,
and I thought a strong material would hold it firmly.
So even before checking clinics, I had that set.
I visited RU and a few other clinics that specialize in rib cartilage,
but when I had my consultation with Dr. Kim,
he showed before/after photos of similar cases to mine via PPT,
explained exactly how the surgery would go,
and what to do to avoid the same issues again—
he was so detailed that I decided on RU for my revision surgery.
Now at 3 months post-op,
my nose looks more natural than in the early stages,
and from the side or front,
it’s lost that thick look and looks more sleek and pretty!
At follow-up visits, I always get to see the doctor,
so I can comfortably ask about any concerns or functional issues with my nose.
Since inflammation is common in revision surgeries,
I feel more at ease knowing the doctor himself checks on everything.
Plus, the staff and my coordinator are super kind—
even on KakaoTalk they reply quickly and explain things well.
Before the revision,
because my tip had dropped,
my midface looked long and sunken like a droopy nose,
but now with a prettier nose tip and bridge,
my face looks more balanced and defined.
People keep asking if I lost weight
or say my face looks smaller!
I finally get what people mean
when they say a successful nose job brings out all those effects… haha
