1 Month After Male Revision Rhinoplasty

Since undergoing revision rhinoplasty at RU Plastic Surgery,
the biggest change I’ve noticed is how much my appearance has improved
and how satisfied I am with the overall shape of my nose.
My side profile is dramatically different compared to before,
with a much more defined and balanced nasal line.
From the front,
the upturned appearance that used to bother me has been corrected,
giving my face a more refined and well-defined look overall.
One unexpected improvement is when wearing glasses or sunglasses.
Before surgery, my bridge was so low that the frames would often rest against my cheeks,
but now they sit comfortably on my nose without that issue.
At my recent 1 month follow-up appointment,
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim and I reviewed my before-and-after photos together.
He carefully explained the precautions I should continue to follow
and how to manage the healing process moving forward.
He also mentioned that the residual swelling between the eyebrows
and the firmness at the tip will gradually soften over time.
Because this was revision surgery,
the scar tissue created from previous procedures will continue to settle,
and maintaining stable postoperative care through the 6 month mark remains important.
Beyond the surgical result itself,
what has impressed me most is the follow-up care.
At every visit,
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim takes the time to carefully assess my recovery and answer questions,
which makes it easy to feel the genuine care and attention he has for his patients.
Overall, I’m very happy with both the result and the experience so far.
