Two Weeks After Hump Nose Rhinoplasty (Septal & Ear Cartilage)
본문

Before / 2w post-op
I had always been self-conscious about the hump on my nose.
In particular, when viewed from the side, the tip of my nose sat lower than the bridge,
which made my nose appear slightly droopy. This was one of the main reasons I decided to undergo rhinoplasty.
I first learned about RU Plastic Surgery through the Yeowoya online community.
The before-and-after reviews generally looked natural, and many patients seemed satisfied with their results, which led me to schedule a consultation.
During my consultation with Dr. Hyun Joo Kim, we discussed reducing the hump on the nasal bridge and supporting the nasal tip with septal cartilage.
Ear cartilage would also be used where additional support was needed.
We decided to proceed with an implant-free rhinoplasty using my own cartilage.
I especially appreciated that Dr. Kim recommended a surgical approach that would complement my facial features without creating an overly dramatic or unnatural result.
His detailed explanation of the surgical plan gave me confidence in moving forward with the procedure.
During the early recovery period, I was a little concerned about the swelling and bruising.
However, as time passed, I could gradually see my nose settling into a more natural shape.
I am especially happy with how much cleaner and more refined my nasal profile looks,
which has also made my overall facial features appear more defined.
I am now two weeks post-op, so the healing process is still ongoing,
but I am already very satisfied with the results.
I am looking forward to seeing my nose become even more natural and refined as the swelling continues to subside.
