Double Eyelid Surgery + Epicanthoplasty 1-Month Post-Op Review (with Photos)
본문
Before the double eyelid surgery,
my daughter’s eyes looked small and short,
and her eyelid muscles were so weak that
she often had to lift her eyebrows just to open her eyes.
I had previously visited RU Plastic Surgery
for a revision rhinoplasty consultation myself
and was very satisfied with the experience.
Because of that trust, I brought my daughter in for a consultation as well—
and before we knew it, she went ahead with the surgery.
When I ask her,
“Do you like how your eyes look now? Are you happy with the results?”
she just stays quiet and laughs.
But from my perspective,
it feels like her naturally pretty eyes,
which had been hidden before, have finally come through.
I’m honestly amazed that her eyes could look this much bigger
even without any lateral canthoplasty or lower eyelid surgery.
Her friends have also told her that the surgery turned out really well,
and I can tell she’s secretly pleased—
she’s been buying noticeably more makeup lately.
That’s probably where the real expense went… haha.
Originally, she wanted a very natural look,
somewhere between a semi-outfold and an in-out fold.
Because her Mongolian folds were quite prominent,
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim recommended a mild epicanthoplasty
to gently open the inner corners of her eyes,
so we decided to include that in the procedure.
Now that one month has passed since the surgery,
the Mongolian folds have softened just the right amount,
the healing process is going smoothly,
and her eye shape looks much more balanced and open overall.
