Men’s Bulbous Nose Rhinoplasty with Autologous Rib Cartilage – 3 Months Post-Op
본문

I had always been self-conscious
about my deviated nose
and the low appearance of my nasal bridge from the side.
After a lot of consideration,
I decided to undergo rhinoplasty
using autologous rib cartilage.
Both Dr. Hyun Joo Kim and the consultation manager
made me feel comfortable throughout the consultation.
The clinic was also calm and not overcrowded,
which gave me confidence that
I would receive attentive one-on-one care.
It has now been three months since surgery,
and I'm very satisfied
with the overall nasal line and design.
My bridge and nasal tip are much more defined from the side,
and my nose also looks sharper and more balanced from the front.
People around me have told me
that my overall appearance has improved a lot,
which makes me even more satisfied with the result.
I still feel a slight foreign body sensation
around the upper lip area,
and it can feel uncomfortable
when pursing my lips or brushing my teeth.
I was told this can occur
while adjusting to the nasal support structure.
The rib cartilage donor-site scar
became noticeably redder around the second month,
but I was told that it should gradually fade
and become lighter after about six months.
I'm currently managing it with scar ointment.
Overall,
I'm very satisfied with the result
and feel that the surgery was well worth
the time I spent considering it.
