Two Months After Revision Rhinoplasty with Customized 3D DCF
본문

It has now been two months since I underwent revision rhinoplasty using entirely autologous tissue.
One of my biggest concerns before surgery was nostril asymmetry,
so I still find myself checking it frequently just to make sure.
I am very happy to see that the nostrils remain well balanced and symmetrical.
I have also been paying close attention to the nasal bridge.
After my previous rhinoplasty, I began noticing deviation around the two-month mark,
so this time I often check the bridge carefully under different lighting.
So far, it has remained straight and stable, which has been very reassuring for me.
As part of my postoperative care, I have been taking the medication prescribed to help manage excessive scar tissue formation.
I was also provided with scar ointment for the autologous rib cartilage donor site.
I sometimes forget to apply it, but I am trying to stay consistent with the scar-care routine.
This is actually the first clinic where I have experienced such detailed attention to the donor-site scar
as part of the postoperative care, which I really appreciate.
I was told that there is still some swelling remaining around the glabella and upper nasal bridge area,
which is expected to continue subsiding. Aside from that,
I personally feel that there is very little noticeable swelling left at this stage.
My revision rhinoplasty was performed by Dr. Hyunju Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.
At two months postoperatively, I am very pleased with the symmetry, stability,
and overall progress of my recovery and feel reassured by how well the nose is settling so far.
