1 Month After My 5th Nose Revision Surgery
본문

I decided to have another nose revision surgery because my previous surgeries left my nose too long and large, which didn’t suit my face shape at all.
Since I have a generally long face shape, I wanted a natural and slightly shorter nose rather than a flashy or overly high one.
I had already undergone three revision surgeries at six-month intervals, but it wasn’t until a year later that I finally decided to have surgery again with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo at R U Plastic Surgery. I was worried about my previous surgeries and the fact that I would have to use autologous rib cartilage again, but after a consultation, Dr. Kim’s clear explanations and professionalism gave me confidence, so I chose to proceed with my fifth revision.
This was my fifth nose revision surgery overall. Dr. Kim designed the surgery considering the overall impression I wanted to achieve, including the use of autologous rib cartilage.
Recovery was faster than I expected, and now, two months post-surgery, my nostrils look more natural, and my nose appears visibly shorter from the front, which makes me very satisfied.
Although I’m still healing, and I wish the nose might get a little smaller from the front view, overall it looks much more natural and suits my face shape perfectly.
There’s no longer the overly long columella I had before, and everything feels well-balanced. I truly believe I made the right choice.
