Third Revision Rhinoplasty – 1 Month Post-Op Update at RU Plastic Surgery
본문

I decided to undergo a third revision rhinoplasty because I noticed that my nasal tip was gradually shortening over time. After extensive research and consultations,
I ultimately chose RU Plastic Surgery for the procedure.
Dr. Hyun Joo Kim has an excellent reputation for complex revision cases, and I felt confident after meeting him.
The overall experience at the clinic was reassuring—the staff and the surgical coordinator were exceptionally clear in their explanations and made the entire process comfortable.
Now at the 1-month mark, I just had a follow-up appointment and things are progressing well.
I had some concerns about mild erythema at the nasal tip, but Dr. Kim explained that since I have thin skin and the tip was both lowered and augmented,
some temporary redness is expected. He also mentioned that this may fluctuate intermittently between 3 to 6 months post-op.
That said, I’m very satisfied with the current shape—it’s aligned with the aesthetic I initially hoped for.
People around me have been saying that my overall facial impression looks softer and more harmonious.
Although the nose is higher than before, the rounded contour blends naturally with my facial features.
Dr. Kim took time during pre-op to thoroughly understand the look I wanted, and I truly appreciate how accurately that was reflected in the surgical outcome.
I’ve already recommended RU Plastic Surgery to others who are considering revision rhinoplasty, and I’m happy to have chosen the right clinic for such an important procedure.
